While at Northern Trust, Rick held leadership positions in Commercial Banking, Strategic Planning and Personal Financial Services. In 2003, he became head of the Corporate &amp; Institutional Services business unit and in 2006 was named President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2008, Rick was appointed Chief Executive Officer and later Chairman in 2009.Rick is a member of the Board of Directors of AbbVie, IBM, and the Commercial Club of Chicago and its Civic Committee. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Art Institute of Chicago, Northwestern University, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Board of Governors of The First Tee.&nbsp; Rick also serves on the Global Advisory Board of the Kellogg School of Management.Rick earned his bachelor's degree in government from Dartmouth College and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. While at Dartmouth, Rick was a member of Kappa Sigma, where he served as president his senior year, and participated in Green Key and freshman tennis and squash.&nbsp;About our ModeratorWill Malley D26Will is a Dartmouth senior originally from Washington, D.C. At Dartmouth, he is a development Economics major, minoring in Sociology, and is a member of Phi Delt. Last spring, Will received funding from Dartmouth to work on a government sponsored vegetable farm in South Africa. He spent ten weeks learning about South African culture, farming practices, and gathering data for a future thesis. Over the summer, Will interned at Norwest Venture Partners on their tech growth team. In his free time, Will likes spending time with his dog Theo, who lives on campus, cycling, rock climbing, and squash.&nbsp;&nbsp;
