Mark Bernfeld D78
Entrepreneur, Investor, Teacher
Mark Bernfeld is an experienced entrepreneur, angel investor and teacher with a commitment to environmentally and socially responsible businesses.
Mark founded Tamarack Technologies in 1993 with the vision of meeting our growing need to conserve energy and improve air quality in our homes, and he remains owner and Board Chairman. He has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with diverse roles from consultant to broker to insurance company executive. He is an active angel investor with Launchpad Venture Group, Clean Energy Venture Group, and as cofounder and leader of Dartmouth Angels. He is cofounder and Board Chairman at MentorWorks Education Capital, serves on the Board of CleanFiber, and is an advisor to many other early-stage companies. He recently retired as Professor of Practice at Northeastern University, and as Visiting Scholar at Dartmouth College, and he continues to teach at Dartmouth. Mark also oversees several other small businesses and frequently mentors entrepreneurs and students.
Mark is Board Vice President at De Novo, a Cambridge, Massachusetts based nonprofit that provides free legal assistance and affordable psychological counseling to help combat the effects of poverty and violence. He is also on the Alumni Board of the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth College, and on the Board of the Kezar Lake Watershed Association in Maine and several other smaller nonprofits. Mark received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Mathematics from Dartmouth College.

COO, Cirkul Inc.
Phil serves as COO at Cirkul. Prior to joining Cirkul in 2018, Phil served as Co-Founder and CEO of Twined, an online shopping review platform. Previously, Phil served as an Analyst at PNC in the Debt Capital Markets group. Phil received a B.A. in Government and Comparative Politics from Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth, Phil played football, was a member of Theta Delta Chi, and served as a Thetford Mentor.
Justin Weinstein D03
Co-Founder, RISE Brewing Co.
Justin is the Co-founder of RISE Brewing Co. and leading all of Sales. Prior to starting RISE in 2015, Justin was a Senior VP at Jefferies Group on the FX Sales and Trading desk. Previously, Justin worked Lehman Brothers in Capital Markets spending time initially on the US Cash desk and eventually moving over to Foreign Exchange. Justin received a B.A. in Sociology from Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth, Justin was Captain of the Lacrosse team and was a member of Theta Delta Chi.

Henry is an undergraduate student at Dartmouth College majoring in History and Economics. He is a member of Beta Alpha Omega and works as an associate for the Dartmouth Dragon Foundation. Upon graduating, he is entering a job as a consultant at EY-Parthenon.
