The discussion is aimed at both current undergrads/young alumni interested in charting a path in this field and existing investment/technology practitioners interested in the viewpoints of these three Goons who have succeeded in this industry.

Tim Carpenter '01, Moderator
Tim Carpenter is a Managing Director in J.P. Morgan's Technology Investment Banking group and helps lead the firm's Software Banking practice. Across the IPOs and equity issuance, sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory and debt origination, Tim has executed over 70 completed transactions with cumulative deal value greater than $150bn.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2015, Tim spent 8 years in Deutsche Bank's Technology Investment Banking group and 5 years in the software industry. Tim holds an AB in Government from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Jeremiah Daly '04, Panelist
Jeremiah Daly co-founded Elephant in 2015. He co-leads the firm's investment activities and management. Elephant is a venture capital firm focused on the enterprise software, consumer internet and mobile markets. Jeremiah is on the board of KnowBe4, A Cloud Guru, Mosyle and several other Elephant investments.
Prior to co-founding Elephant, Jeremiah was an investor at Accel, Highland Capital Partners and Summit Partners. He started his career at Silicon Valley Bank and Gold Hill Capital. Jeremiah holds an AB in Government from Dartmouth College, where he captained the golf team.
Jeff Kolovson '09, Panelist
Jeff Kolovson is the co-founder and COO of Faire, an online wholesale marketplace connecting brands and retailers from around the world. Faire was started in 2017 and was most recently valued at $7bn with backing from Y Combinator, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, Forerunner Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund and Norwest Venture Partners.
Prior to Faire, Jeff held leadership roles at Opendoor, where he led all go-to-market functions, and at Square, where he joined less than a year after the public launch and led various operations teams as the company scaled through IPO. Jeff holds an AB from Dartmouth College.
