About the speaker:

Zachary R. Hafer '99

Partner, Cooley LLP

Zachary R. Hafer is a prominent trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor with deep experience overseeing high-stakes criminal cases and government investigations. Zach spent 14 years in the US Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts, where he served as chief of the office's criminal division. In this role, he supervised approximately 100 federal prosecutors, managing the investigation and prosecution of cases involving healthcare fraud, RICO, securities and financial fraud, public corruption, national security, cybercrime, narcotics and money laundering and organized and gang related crime. Zach received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Dartmouth College.
